RSS screenshots

RSS screenshots are great for everyone who is interested in learning more about RSS feeds and what they look like. Basically, RSS screenshots are nothing more than a screen of RSS feeds just to give you an idea of how the programs work and what you will be looking at when trying to read RSS feeds yourself.

Generally, the program opens and there are icons across the top similar to Internet Explorer or a Word document. They are a bit different, however, and include File, Edit, Navigate, Search, Project, Run, Window, and Help. Some aggregator programs are a bit different, but for the most part this is what you will see. Then, below there are other icons that allow your to save, print, highlight, toggle forward and backward, and the like.

Below the icons there are two windows, one smaller on the left that is channel navigator and allows you to scroll through the different channels you are interested in. The bigger window on the right is where the number, title, and description of the headlines are. Here the headlines will turn a light grey after they have been read so you can keep track of the headlines you have read and those you have not.

There are a lot of news aggregators out there and Newsmonster just happens to be the best one. So, depending on what news aggregator you are looking at you might see a little bit of a different format, but for the most part the above description of screenshots is exactly what you will see.
