RSS Filters on Newsmonster

At first RSS feeds were supplying all types of information to subscribers, many times information they really wanted and sometimes information they didn’t. Also, the RSS feeds began sending subscribers so much information that many individuals had information overload and could not process the information they were receiving. Because of this RSS filters were invented and now individuals have the option of filtering and sifting the RSS feeds to receive just what they want and leave out the information they don’t.

Now, sifting, sorting, and filtering feeds allows individuals to eliminate the feeds they don’t want and focus on the feeds that have the information the individual is most interested in. There are a variety of ways to sort and filter your feeds and these include using keywords, authors, profanity, tags, and the like to eliminate the feeds you don’t want delivered to you. You may not think filters are worthwhile, and they weren’t 10 years ago when the Internet was still small. However, today the Internet has so much information and RSS feeds that you really need RSS filters to manage the information, receive what you want, and avoid having to go through and delete the information you don’t. RSS filters are wonderful and Internet users all over the world are screaming “thank you” because filters are now available.
